EcoStamp savings scenario calculator

See what different collection-cost reductions could mean for your business.

Enter what you currently pay for commercial 1100L bin collections. We will calculate your current annual cost and show clear 20%, 40%, 60% and 80% cost-reduction scenarios.

Takes less than 30 seconds.
Step 01

Enter your current collection costs

Enter the amount charged for each individual 1100L bin every time that bin is collected. If your invoice shows one site-wide uplift charge, divide it by the number of bins collected.
Step 02

Your collection-cost scenarios

Your results will appear here.

Enter your collection details, then select “Show my savings scenarios.”

Important: This calculator establishes an indicative current collection-cost baseline using the information you provide. Any optional percentage comparison is a hypothetical sensitivity scenario selected by the user. It does not represent EcoStamp performance, a confirmed collection reduction, a guaranteed saving, return on investment or a measured pilot result. EcoStamp is currently at the pre-feasibility and early commercial-validation stage. Engineering feasibility has not yet started.
Development roadmap

A structured route from operator discovery to measured validation.

EcoStamp is progressing through a staged development programme designed to test technical feasibility, build a working prototype and collect measured evidence before wider commercial deployment.

Current

Pre-feasibility and operator discovery

Working with commercial operators to understand real-world waste challenges, validate demand and define the engineering questions that need to be answered.

Next

Independent engineering feasibility

Independent assessment of the concept, technical requirements, engineering risks, safety considerations and potential implementation routes.

Then

Alpha prototype development

Design, manufacture and testing of an initial working prototype informed by the independent engineering feasibility process.

Later

Measured pilot validation and scale preparation

Controlled commercial pilots designed to collect measured operational data and prepare the product, service model and supply route for potential wider deployment.

The operational challenge

Commercial waste collection has changed very little for decades.

Commercial operators often pay for waste collections based on fixed schedules rather than actual bin capacity. This can lead to unnecessary collection costs, overflowing waste compounds and increasing operational pressure during busy periods.

EcoStamp is being developed to explore whether smarter on-site compaction could help operators maximise existing bin capacity, reduce collection frequency and improve waste-area management while continuing to use standard 1100-litre commercial bins.

Overflowing waste compounds

Overflowing bins and congested waste areas create operational challenges for staff, contractors, customers and neighbouring businesses.

Increasing collection costs

Frequent collections can increase operating costs, vehicle movements and disruption to normal site activity.

Customer and staff environments

Poorly managed waste areas can affect staff efficiency, site presentation and the overall customer or guest experience.

Seasonal and peak demand

Hospitality, leisure and event environments can experience sharp increases in waste generation during busy trading periods.

How EcoStamp works

Working with existing commercial waste infrastructure.

EcoStamp is being developed as a commercial waste-compaction concept designed to work with existing 1100-litre bins rather than requiring operators to replace their current waste containers.

01

Position

The EcoStamp concept is positioned above a suitable existing commercial 1100-litre bin.

02

Compact

Waste is compacted within the existing bin to explore whether available capacity can be used more efficiently before collection.

03

Collect

The existing waste contractor continues to collect the same commercial bin through the site's normal waste collection arrangements.

Product development

Two product concepts under development.

EcoStamp is currently exploring two engineering approaches intended to suit different commercial environments and operating requirements.

Portable EcoStamp compactor concept
Portable concept

Portable EcoStamp

A portable concept being explored for temporary deployment, seasonal demand and sites requiring flexible operation across suitable commercial bins.

  • Designed around existing 1100L bins
  • No permanent ground installation proposed
  • Potential seasonal or peak-period use
  • Flexible movement between suitable bins
Fixed EcoStamp compactor concept
Fixed-position concept

Fixed EcoStamp

A fixed-position concept intended for commercial waste compounds requiring permanent installation and regular operational use.

  • Permanent waste-area positioning
  • Designed for repeated site use
  • Potential wall-mounted configuration
  • Commercial service-area integration
Target environments

Commercial environments where waste management becomes an operational challenge.

01

Hospitality

Hotels, restaurants, food-service venues and high-footfall visitor destinations.

02

Holiday parks

Campsites and holiday parks managing seasonal occupancy and guest-facing waste areas.

03

Events

Festivals, temporary venues and locations experiencing concentrated periods of waste demand.

04

Commercial estates

Retail, industrial and multi-site environments using standard commercial bins.
